The Graces are the goddesses of charm, beauty and the pleasure of good company in Greek tradition, usually three sisters attendant on the greater gods and named for splendour, mirth and abundance.

The Graces are usually three — most commonly named as splendour, good cheer and blooming abundance — though their number and parentage vary between sources, with different regions counting two or more and assigning them different mothers. They personify the qualities that make social life agreeable: grace of movement, charm, festivity, and the reciprocal giving and receiving of favour that the Greek word behind their name also denotes.

They function largely as attendants. They accompany the goddess of love, adorn and prepare gods for appearances, dance at divine gatherings, and are associated with the Muses and with Apollo in contexts of song and celebration.
