In the eleventh hour, among the chambers and pits where the enemies of the sun god are disposed of, stand a series of female wardens: one, Hert-Nekenit, spits fire on the souls of the fiends in her charge, and the next two chambers, holding the shadows and the heads of the damned, are kept by women of the same kind — Hert-Nemmat-set and Hert-sefu-s.
